Welcome to Sima's Roots and Fruits
My name is Sima, and I run a small, local nursery for perennial edible plants in New Brunswick. I offer a variety of nutritious, delicious, and low-care perennial plants – mainly herbs, berries, root crops, and salad greens, with a sprinkle of useful garden companion plants and perennial flowers.

Food Forest Tours
Want to know what the food forest tours have been all about? Check out the brochure from the 2024 tour to get an idea of the properties that were showcased in 2024, and what you might be seeing in 2025. The 2024 tour included nine properties across Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton, each showcasing unique approaches to growing food sustainably. The tours are geared toward community building, connecting with like-minded people, finding resources, sharing information, and learning from folks that have been growing their food forests for a while.
