These tours showcase properties across the province - some public, some private, small and large, and one site is an established food forests planted in the 1980s! The tours are spread across multiple weekends, so that you can visit as many locations as you wanted to, without time pressure.
The different sites showcased different approaches to growing food in NB, with a host of permaculture-friendly techniques - from fruit tree guilds to hugelculture beds, swales for capturing rainwater, and four-season greenhouses. Thanks to the diversity of the sites, the tours offered something for everyone - from experienced gardeners to curious folks just looking to start out.
