Goji berry

Lycium barbarum. Red goji berry bush - a deciduous woody shrub, growing up to 9 ft in height. These berry bushes are hardy to zone 3, and generally thrive in poor soil. The plants are self-fertile and highly prolific, setting a multitude of bright orange-red berries along each branch.
The fruits can be infused with hot water to make goji tea, eaten raw (they are a bit of an acquired taste!), added to smoothies or juiced, dried for trail mix or energy bars, added to cereal, or baked in muffins or scones.
