Ribes viburnum. A deciduous shrub growing to ~5 ft tall and 3-5 ft wide. An established bush can produce up to 9 lbs of berries in a season. Plants are hardy to zone 3. Berries hang in clusters of up to 20 berries, and are ready for picking when slightly translucent and juicy. Berries can be eaten as-is from the bush, for that perfect sweet-tart flavour, or processed into jam or jelly, and also make wonderful fruit leather treats and cordials. Self-fertile and prolific.
