This workshop will include both theoretical and hands-on components. We will go over three different types of propagation - splitting, layering, and cuttings. Learning the basics of plant propagation allows us to grow our gardens on a dime, as well as sharing plants with friends and neighbours. Participants will be able to take a few cuttings home, so bring with you some ziploc bags or little pots! Workshop is 3 hours long.

At first I thought it was way too basic, but soon Sima branched out into more in-depth information and things I didn’t know. It turned out to be very worthwhile.
Sima's lighthearted approach to teaching makes her class a joy to attend. Even as a seasoned gardener, I walked away with a new understanding of air layering and propagation from parent plants. I am already on the lookout for her next available workshop! Thank you Sima
