Got leek moth issues? Cabbage worms? These floating row covers are for you! Use them to cover crops that don't need pollination. They can even be used to protect squash plants from cucumber beetles, squash beetles, and vine borers for the first few weeks, until the female flowers develop.

Made from lightweight but durable fabric, these covers are 6.2 ft wide and can be used to fully cover a raised bed or a couple of garden rows. Place the fabric early in the season, before the pests emerge. Take care to rotate crops - the covers won't help if the pests emerge under the cover, in the same row you planted the susceptible crop last year.

Did you know? Some cucumber, zucchini, and summer squash varieties are parthenocarpic - that is, they don't require pollination to set fruit! This means that you could cover them with the row covers and leave them covered for the whole season (except for when you harvest the fruit), entirely avoiding all the damage by the various squash-eating bugs! These include (but are not limited to) Beit Alpha, Quick Snack, Excelsior, Katrina, Sweet Success, Lisboa, and Diva (cukes), Golden Glory (yellow summer squash), Nocha, Maveric, and Dunja (zucchini).

Price is per 10 ft of cover. That is, if you're purchasing 1 unit ($10), you will get a rectangle of row cover that is 6.2 ft wide and 10 ft long.
