Fafard seedling soil bags (85L)

This seedling soil is go-to for many farms. It is a mix of peat, perlite, coconut husk fiber, limestone, balanced nutrient charge with micronutrients, and gypsum. This is not the cheapest seedling soil out there. But I've been using it year after year with great results, as have many other farms in the Maritimes. The soil is not compressed, the bags are lighter, and it is easier to handle.

The bags are 85L or 3 cubic ft (think a bale that is 1 ft by 1 ft and is standing 3 ft high). One bag per season should be more than enough to start all the seedlings for a home gardener!
