Oregano

Origanum vulgare. A perennial herb, hardy to zone 5, growing up to 2 ft tall. The plant has a sprawling, rather than an upright habit. Leaves are used in cooking directly after harvesting, or can be dried for later use. Culinary uses are many and familiar - from pizza to soups to salad to meat dishes. Plants prefer full sun and relatively dry soil. Flowers attract pollinators. Price is for an established plant in a 4'' pot.
