Location and date

A whole new set of NB food forest tours! Some properties participated in the 2024 tours, and some are brand-new. We also expanded the tours, to include properties in Edmundston, St Andrews, Knowlesville, and Belledune areas, among others. Some locations will be available for visits on multiple dates, others - only once this season. Some locations will be offering items for sale or trade - from pickles and jams, to seeds and plants, fresh produce and fruit / berries, and even baby chicks! To view or download the full 2025 tours brochure, click here.

Most locations are $15 per visitor; for these, your spot will only be reserved once you pay via credit or etransfer. For one location, fee is by donation on site (and registration is free). Entry for children younger than 11 years old is free - please do not purchase tickets for them!

You will receive an email with details about addresses and any site-specific instructions a few days prior to the visits. Please make sure you check your spam emails!

Great tour of how a food forest can work! I love how approachable the tours are :)

It was amazing to see how many trees, shrubs and plants Mike was able to pack into such a small space in the heart of the city. Very inspiring. I would love to see the food forest earlier in the season.

Patricia and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and useful information. We had never heard about "guilds" before - interesting concept. Her husband (in Ottawa) is a horticulturalist and she will relay some information to him upon her return.

It was a perfect day. Loads of info and more! Loved the taste testing. Practical advise and clear directions. Thanks again.

It was more of an aspiring food forest than anything. However the hosts were collector's of different varieties of fruits and trees and somewhat knowledgeable about their collection, which was interesting to hear about. I wish the host wasn't so self depricating all the time as his knowledge and experience sounded hard earned.
