Catmint

Nepeta spp. Catmints are hardy perennial herbs. It is a long-blooming plant, flowering throughout the summer and fall. Its strong scent keeps the deer from feasting on it. A great companion plant in the garden – for confusing pests and feeding pollinators. These plants grow tall (~2-3 ft) and eventually flop over, forming a large circle around the center of the plant. Make sure to plant them where they will have lots of space to be their floppy, bee-happy, strong-smelling selves!
